No Nigerian Club Qualified
Football fans around the globe are bracing for an unforgettable summer as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 gears up to kick off on June 14 in the United States. For the first time ever, the tournament will feature a record 32 teams, showcasing elite clubs from every continent in a revamped, Champions League-style format.
Running from June 14 to July 13, the month-long tournament promises to deliver high-octane football with global superstars and clubs battling it out for the prestigious title—and a share of the $1 billion prize pool. The eventual champions could walk away with as much as $125 million, making it the most lucrative club competition in FIFA history.
Format & Group Structure
The 32 qualified clubs have been drawn into eight groups of four, with teams playing in a round-robin format. The top two from each group will advance to the knockout rounds, beginning with the Round of 16 and culminating in the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
