Multiple reports have it that Emdee Tiamiyu, a Nigerian YouTuber and Japa spiller, has been deported back to Nigeria.

Emdee Tiamiyu, the Nigerian YouTuber who gained attention for his controversial BBC interview about Nigerians using student visas to migrate to the UK, has reportedly been deported from the UK to Nigeria.

This development follows his arrest on allegations of defrauding the UK government of £160,000.

Tiamiyu allegedly misused funds intended for his resettlement after claiming asylum, diverting them instead to build a house in Ogun State, Nigeria.

His previous interview had stirred significant debate and reportedly influenced UK policies regarding Nigerian students, particularly the restrictions on bringing family members unless enrolled in PhD programs.

Following his interview, he faced many backlash from many Nigerians who labeled him as a traitor for revealing certain information.

While the news is still unclear, some users are already celebrating his deportation, and he is expected to trend once again.

Unfortunately, Tiamiyu was arrested in March 2024 after he used about 160,000 pound given to him by Uk government to build house in his hometown.

Currently, some Nigerian social media users are celebrating his reported deportation.
