Dangote Refinery Rolls Out First Batch of Petrol, Promises World-Class Quality

In a historic moment for Nigeria’s energy sector, Dangote Refinery has officially rolled out its first batch of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from its 650,000 barrels per day facility.
At a press conference, billionaire businessman and owner of the refinery, Aliko Dangote, declared “it’s a celebration day for Nigerians” as he assured citizens of good quality petrol that will last longer and reduce engine issues.
“The quality here will match that of anywhere in the world; US, America, we will make sure that nobody will beat us in terms of quality,” Dangote said.
This milestone marks a significant boost in fuel production capacity and a reduction in dependence on imported petroleum products for Nigeria.
