FA Cup final: Crystal Palace 1 Manchester City 0 – Eze goal, Henderson heroics win first ever trophy

Crystal Palace have won the FA Cup for the first time in their history.

Eberechi Eze scored the game’s only goal at Wembley against seven-time winners Manchester City while Dean Henderson saved a penalty from Omar Marmoush.

The Palace goalkeeper was the hero on the day, but was supremely fortunate to avoid being shown a first-half red card. He handled the ball outside his penalty area but VAR deemed him not to have denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.

It means there will be no trophy this season for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City who are still fighting for Champions League qualification in the Premier League.
