Chelsea secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez.
Jackson opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a superb finish, giving Chelsea a well-deserved lead. The visitors dominated the match, with Leicester struggling to create clear-cut chances.
Fernandez sealed the win for Chelsea in the 75th minute, heading home from close range after Mads Hermansen parried out Jackson’s header. Jordan Ayew pulled one back for Leicester in the 90+5 minute, but it was too little, too late.
The win sees Chelsea move to within a point of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table. Leicester, on the other hand, remain in 15th place .
