Breaking: Obaseki increases minimum wage to N70,000, names Labour house After Oshiomhole

• Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki increases the minimum wage for workers in the State to N70,000.
• Mr. Godwin Obaseki named the Labour House after his predecessor, Senator Adams Oshiomhole.

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has increased the minimum wage for workers in the State from N40,000 to N70,000.

Obaseiki said the new minimum wage will take effect from May 1, 2024.

The governor made the announcement at the commissioning of the newly built ultra-modern Labour House secretariat complex for labour unions in the State, along Temboga Road, Ikpoba-Hill, Benin City.

He also named the Labour House after his predecessor, Senator Adams Oshiomhole.

Mr. Godwin Obaseki will be leaving office in November 2024.
