Borno State Under 24-Hour Curfew After Deadly IED Attack

A 24-hour curfew has been imposed in Borno State, effective immediately, following a devastating Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack that claimed the lives of 16 people and left several others critically injured.

The attack, which occurred in Kawori, has sparked widespread concern and prompted the state government to take swift action to restore law and order.

According to a statement from the office of the Executive Governor, Prof. Babagana Umar Zulum, the curfew is intended to prevent further loss of life and property.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at various government hospitals in the state, and an investigation into the attack is underway.
