APC launches new website, social media accounts disowns hacked account (@APCNigeria)
The party announced the new website and Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts on Sunday via a statement issued by Bolaji Abdullahi, its spokesman.
This comes a day after a verified Twitter account bearing the name of the party was hacked.

Before it was hacked, the party dissociated itself from that account.
“The newly-designed website features a streamlined and uncluttered design, offering user-friendly functionality and rich content,” the party said.
“This website as well as the official social media accounts offer quick and easy access to essential information and features to keep party members, the media and indeed the general public abreast of party activities, the APC-led federal government and APC-governed states.”
The party said the new website will be regularly updated with news on “party accomplishments and events.”
“Visitors are encouraged to explore the new website and sign up for APC’s mailing list and newsletter to receive direct emails on the Contact Us page. Also, follow the APC on the listed social media accounts,” it added.
The new Twitter handle had 1,535 followers as of 3:55pm.
