The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, on Saturday, held a strategic reunion with former members of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) at the Presidential Lodge in Birnin Kebbi.
The event was aimed at strengthening party unity and fostering collaboration among stakeholders in preparation for future political activities.
Key figures from across the state attended the gathering, including Hon. Muhammed Sani Garba Tiggi, who represents Augie Local Government in the Kebbi State House of Assembly. He joined other prominent party members in reaffirming their loyalty to the APC and their dedication to the state’s development.
Lawmakers from all 21 local government areas of the state were present, including Deputy Speaker Hon. Samaila Bambu, Deputy House Leader Hon. Dan Goje, and several other senior legislators, underscoring the importance of the meeting.
The reunion also saw the participation of local government chairmen, elected councilors, and top APC officials. It served as a vital platform for reinforcing party cohesion, particularly among stakeholders who were part of the CPC before the merger that led to the formation of the APC.
