Anambra 2021: Senator Stella Oduah dumps party for APC

The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial Zone, Princess Stella Oduah has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The former Minister of Aviation was welcomed to the party by the Caretakers Chairman of the APC, Mai Mala Buni, Imo state governor, Hope uzodinma, Deputy Senate president; Ovie Omo-Agege, and the APC governorship candidate for Anambra election Andy Uba.

Her defection is coming barely three months to anambra Guber Election on November 6th, 2021.

Her defection might not be unconnected to the conduct of the PDP’s primary election for Anambra guber. Princess Oduah had expressed dissatisfaction with the process which she said was marred by irregularities and high powered betrayal by so called party leaders.

Recall that the Senator is standing trial by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for corruption during her time as minister.
