The Federal Capital Territory High Court has ordered the remand of former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello in the Kuje Correctional Centre. The court’s decision was made pending the outcome of Bello’s bail application.

Bello is facing charges related to alleged money laundering, alongside two other defendants. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting the case, which involves allegations of N110 billion in financial improprieties.
