The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has confirmed a power outage affecting parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In a statement on Tuesday, AEDC attributed the outage to a technical fault on the feeder supplying the affected area.
“Dear valued customers in Central Area, Wuse Zone 3 & 4, Nicon Hotel, Sheraton Hotel, Grand Square, Rochas Plaza, MTN Switch Yard, Millennium Park, Statement Hotel, Police Station Wuse Zone 3, Kings Care Hospital, Abidjan Street, Abacha Estate, Labour House, Stanbic Bank, GT Bank, First Bank, Ikwerre Street, and surrounding areas.
“This is to inform you that the power outage is due to a technical fault on the feeder serving these areas. Our dedicated technical team is working tirelessly to restore power as quickly as possible,” the Disco explained.
