On 14th May 2019, the out-going Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Professor Benjamin Ozumba has appealed to well meaning individuals and Corporate bodies to fund the development of infrastructure and facilities in the country’s educational institutions.
Professor Ozumba on a farewell tour of the University where he commissioned the renovated and refurbished Department of Political Science building, commended the individual effort of the Founder and Leader of Living Christ Mission Worldwide, Professor Daddy Hezekiah in executing the project.
Commissioning the project, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Professor Benjamin Ozumba praised the philanthropy of Daddy Hezekiah in investing in the future of the Nigerian youths.
The Vice Chancellor whose tenure in office is due to elapse on June 14, enjoined other well placed persons in the society to take a cue from the religious leader by taking up responsibilities in helping and empowering the poor and the needy.
Speaking through a Senior aide, Nneka Anaegbu, Daddy Hezekiah narrates how his two daughters who were students of the Political Science Department drew his attention to the deplorable condition of the departmental building, pleading that something be done before it collapsed.
The event featured the presentation of meritorious award to Daddy Hezekiah by the Vice Chancellor of the University.
